“A new report reveals that industrial facilities in Pennsylvania are among the top polluters of United States rivers, including a chemical company just 16 miles outside of Pittsburgh” -Pittsburgh Tribune
Once again, these rivers and creeks are very polluted. The graph shows that Pittsburgh is top 20 in Pennsylvania for dirty water. This shows that Pittsburgh, near our creek, is a polluted place.
We learned about how polluted our creeks are around here and what we have to do to fix it. What we found interesting was testing all the water to see the pH levels and that sort of thing. Another question we get is “do you enjoy testing creeks and are they dirty?” We would say yes to both questions because it is an interesting hobby and they are dirty, depending on where you go, but Bull Run Creek is.
